Here is a little group of Spaniels.
Some are Cocker Spaniels and some are Springer Spaniels. Clockwise from left is Ogilvie the Springer Spaniel from Douglas Cuddle Toys, in the middle is a Springer Spaniel frame from E&S Imports, the black and white Spaniel is a Cocker Spaniel from Trader Imports, and next to that is a Cocker Spaniel from Russ Luv Pets, in the middle is a Springer Spaniel from A Breed Apart and next to that is a little new Cocker Spaniel from Russ and then we have Bouncer the Springer Spaniel made by Douglas. The little Spaniel in front is a magnet from Fuzzy Town. You can find many of these Spaniels in our Gift Shop.
Cocker Spaniels are happy, active dogs with a sense of humor, who love to be with their human companions. They also need regular grooming and some trimming.
The Cocker spaniel is descended from the English cocker spaniel. An English Springer Spaniel is shown at left. They are about 15 inches high and weigh around 26 pounds. Their colors range from solid black, black with white, cream, roan and brindle. They are very good with children and have a sweet friendly disposition. They were originally hunting dogs but now are used as companion dogs.
