The husky in the middle is Blizzard from Russ. All the other huskies are from the Stuffed Animal House. The plush toy Huskies shown below right are a Webkinz and Lil' Kinz made by Ganz. You can buy some of these in our Gift Shop.

The Alaskan Malamute, or Eskimo Dog or Siberian Husky are descended from the Arctic Wolf. They are affectionate dogs and very loyal. They are native to Siberia.

The height can be anywhere from 18 to 25 inches. The weight varies, depending on the breed, from 80 pounds (Alaskan Malamute), 70-100 pounds (Eskimo Dog) or 50 pounds (Siberian Husky). They are double coated and have a very thick undercoat perfectly suited for their native habitat.

They all make excellent sled dogs.
