These dogs are Golden Retrievers. Retrievers are hunting dogs. The Golden Retriever is about 24 inches high and weighs about 70 pounds.

If their master is a hunter, they must learn to retrieve the game the hunter shoots, hence their name.

The Golden works well on land or in water.

They make wonderful companion dogs and are good with children.
