Orany is an orang-utan and is a member of the Coca-Cola International Bean Bag collection. Orany represents the country of Singapore. The other two orang-utans here are Schweetheart the Beanie Buddy and Beanie Baby made by Ty Inc.
The orang-utan is found
in the countries of Brunei, Indonesia and Malaysia. It lives in the rainforests and swamp forests. It feeds mainly on fruits (frugivorous) but will also eat insects, small vertebrates, leaves, and bark.
At night they will make a nest in the trees from branches and leaves. They are active chiefly during the day (diurnal) and live primarily in the trees (arboreal).
The males weigh around 86 kilograms while the females weigh 38 kilograms. Colors range from orange to black. The social group usually consists of a mother and her offspring. Males usually travel alone. The orang-utan gives birth to only one offspring about every five years.
