Gingerbread Houses comes from Germany. The idea comes from a
fairy tale told by the Brothers Grimm. In the story, two children
(Hansel and Gretel) are lost in the woods and come upon an edible
Gingerbread House. Mothers lost little time in creating gingerbread
houses for their youngsters. |
