There are a number of penguins living at
Jeannie's Cottage. They include, from left: a Cuddlekins Emperor
Penguin made by Wild Republic, a Hansa Emperor
Penguin, an Emperor Penguin chick made by Hansa,
two Emperor Penguins in 2 sizes made by the Stuffed Animal
House; the large penguin in back is Calvin the Emperor
Penguin made by Douglas and next to Calvin is Waddles
the Emperor Penguin, also made by Douglas, but is
a smaller size.
These penguins include a Rarities
Penguin from Manhattan Toys (who is a Rockhopper penguin),
then Boomer from Russ, a Luv Pet who is also a
Rockhopper; next is a Cuddlekins Rockhopper
Penguin from Wild Republic, then we have Iggy
the penguin and her baby, and last
is an Cuddlekins
African Penguin made by Wild Republic. Some of these

Penguins are swimming birds that live in
the coastal waters of the Southern Hemisphere, including Antarctica.
The Galapagos Penguin lives on Pacific islands as far north as
the equator. With their flipperlike almost featherless wings,
they can propel through the water as fast as 25 miles per hour.
There are 17 species of Penguins. They
include the: emperor, king, Adélie, gentoo, chinstrap,
rockhopper, macaroni, royal, Fiordland Crested, erect-crested,
Snares Island, yellow-eyed, fairy, Magellanic, Humboldt, African
and Galapagos. Of these, six species are crested. They are the:
macaroni, royal, erect-crested, Snares, Fiordland and rockhopper.
